Albirex Niigata (S) Football Club announces that Satoshi Hida (Jersey No. 13) would be suspended for the next competitive match.
Hida had an altercation with a Sengkang Punggol player when he was substituted during the S.League Match No. 172 between Sengkang Punggol and Albirex Niigata on 15 Sep 2010 at the Jalan Besar Stadium. The Team Management deemed that such behaviour is unacceptable in any circumstances.
As professional players, all Albirex players are expected to display exemplary conduct on and off the field and be a role model to all young children and supporters. The Team Management has reiterated to all players the importance of these responsibilities, as the Club strives to maintain the strong relationship that have been cultivated between Singapore and Japan over many years.
In addition to the above, the Team Management would also take responsibility for the player’s conduct as follows:
Chairman – Mr Daisuke Korenaga – 10% deduction of one month’s salary
Team Manager – Mr Koh Mui Tee – 10% deduction of one month’s salary
Head Coach – Mr Koichi Sugiyama – 10% deduction of one month’s salary
